Hi! You know, on Letterboxd, when you scroll down a movie page and you see «Related Films», is it necessarily a Collection? Can we just link some movies together? Cause I want to link two documentary, one that is old, and one that is brand new and that is like a follow-up on the story. Thanks!

I can't speak to how Letterboxd is building those lists but here on TMDB, the rules for a collection are pretty strict. You can read those rules here.
Generally, though, no. Collections are reserved for direct sequels.
